Yes. I saw that all the 5 dishes were complete. Each chef also spoke his "my dish is a success" line, too.

Are you sure you can please the pig WITHOUT 5 dishes finished?

Nope, as I said I wasn't paying attention in the first 2 districts where I got pigs.

I was basing my calculations on the other posters who only got 4 and 8 red bags and no pig - I got 12 in a failed district and 16 in both that got pigs.

I deduced therefore that the districts I was in when I got pigs (16 bags) had 4 dishes complete (each comlplete dish = 4 red bags) and that any district where all 5 dishes were complete would get 20 bags.

So can you get gifts even if you DON'T manage to get any items for the chefs?

I believe so. But only if your district gets all the 5 dishes finished.

It's so dumb. There are 5 collector items from the Ring of Fire. That has got to be one of the most cruel things I have ever seen. Most people I know, only go to the Ring of Fire for two things; doing missions and elites. People do not want to be going through a mission just to fight one of the most annoying creatures in Tyria (spiders), or have to fend of creatures they thought they didn't need to worry about anymore, just so they can get a small amount of extra stuff.

Frankly, I would have these collector items, were it not for the fact that I utterly despise the RoF. Only problem is, these are the items that seem to be the least common.

Next time, they should make sure that the collector items required are in an area where there is at least some nice scenery (igneous rock and lava pits are hardly very exciting).
